The Gen 2 Super cab weight is 5,525lbs

ok... now add lights, bumpers, leaf springs, UCAs, misc bs, if your like me... topper, bump stop and etc... weight. I own a gen1. Iam sure I am about to get hammered for this but.... weight reduction is important as well. Gen2 trucks cut weight with aluminum and a v6. Downside... bent beds, a v6 sound, and a thousand sensors or the electric steering rack to fail. ( Gen2 raptors are amazing yes). My point is there is trade off. Weight and price.

Trailered toy truck to romp on in dunes and at Baja with money to ****... sure... why not. Everyday driver who uses the truck everyday in every situation from ranching to camping and then the grocery store... my opinion is no. Look up the cost of ti per oz. It has its purpose... underwater (no rust) and thermal properties. But the cost is crazy.

At the end of the day- w/o delving into the obvious which is that the Raptor is already a ridiculous vehicle to be factory production, why does a dog lick his balls? Because he can.

I need to LOL again @ the guy questioning me whether there’d be a market for a TI raptor exhaust! People are spending thousands on carbon fiber bits, $10k suspensions, literally look at the recent thread “my raptor build” & tell me w/ a straight face that guy wouldn’t throw a TI exhaust on his Raptor in a minute hahahahaha

No vehicle is bulletproof and it's to be expected for stuff to break down, is there lemons that get sold! ?absolutely!!!!
I own both Gen 1 & Gen 2 Raptor
S cabs.
Both are stock! Which are more then capable for my needs, all these upgrades and aftermarket stuff is costly and unnecessary and that's my opinion for my needs, but the Gen 2 is way better then my Gen 1 its night and day.

then make it and sell it. Power to you brother. I am one of the guys that has spent more than he will ever need on “up grades”. Just crazy to me with cost on a ti exhaust. Worst money spent is on a titanium knife. Dulls out ever other cut. Iam not the Fortune 500 flat brimmed bro that would consider ti for an exhaust. But truly... could be wrong and I like seeing what is the best for our trucks.

If we are talking fantasy exhausts, let’s talk inconel. Then you’ll have my interest.

Now we will see who takes the time to Google and who knows wth is really up for exotic exhaust materials.

And guys I love my truck. I do. But throwing “ performance vs price “ at this guy’s idea seems ironic at best.

I’ve seen plenty of rigs that can outperform a Gen 1 or Gen 2, built for fractions of what it costs to buy a new or slightly used Raptor.

Just visit Race-desert.com for examples of rigs that would run circles around our Raps in their environment, for a quarter of the cost.

So let’s stop using price as our reason. Lmao.

That said, ti would be trick, but weight savings minimal.

But hey, if you have the $, and you’ve done everything you possibly can to your rig, this is the crowning piece de resistance!

Hell people are happy to pay $1500 for a system that does nothing for power and sounds like crap.

Oh and whoever said Akra.... DROOL.
