Hey All

I had a 2018 802a and now have a 2019 802a

When I was in the 18 and selected rain/snow, 4A would engage as expected and it would change between 2 and 4 a lot depending on road conditions.

In my 19, it's pretty much in 4 the whole time. It never swapped between 2 and 4 wheel drive.

Was there a change? I also noticed the parasitic drag is a lot more in the 19 than it was in the 18.

Thoughts?

When my 18 802a is in 4a you can feel it all the time. Especially on spots of dryer road. Feels like torque steer when accelerating out of a turn.

I always feel it on the 19 in rain/snow. Go to the Power distribution screen and watch it.

I get a drag on the powertrain. Very noticeable.

I dont think it's a flaw but just noticed the 18 and 19 handle 4A differently.

Kickin it in Canada!
My 18 in 4A is always applying power to all 4 wheels. Just changes how much it sends to the fronts depending on driving conditions/throttle input

Is this in the weather mode, or just 4A?....The drag you're feeling is in 4A the front hubs are now locked even if there is no power applied to the front diff....the 802 package has the front Torsen diff.... hence the drag or heavy steering feel...
