GEN 2 Carbon fiber steering wheel insert

Saw this on one of the Raptor FB groups and had decent reviews so thought I would try it out since cost of entry was so low. Looks awesome! Fit is spot on. It’s a plastic overlay so not real carbon fiber but it’s a dead ringer for the factory carbon fiber weave. I just ordered the exterior fender vents and some more interior bits. That damn factory gray plastic trim scratches so easily

For 24 bucks, the fact you can easily remove it, and it covers up all the scratches on the factory trim? 5 star review in my opinion

I have that same one on my wheel.
Also got the one that goes around the AC vents and panel in the back seat.
Your right....they are cheap compared to real carbon fiber but don’t look cheap.

Had the insert for a while. Worked great. Just replaced it. I miss my heated steering wheel a bit

I absolutely love the look of the full fiber wheel, but the cost plus installation is a lot to swallow. It makes sense to try out the plastic bits first just for the heck of it.

Looks good. Does it snap into place or is there some sort of adhesive on the back?

adhesive. One of the pics in the amazon listing even shows the back and where the adhesive strips are.
