2019 vs 2020

Went for a test drive finally.....its pretty sweet! Its not as much better than my v8 as I thought but its pretty damm cool! Feels like a monster truck, makes me feel like a kid driving it.

The local dealer is at $70k and its a 2020. Out of state its like $63.5 for a 19 and identical build. The local dealer added the spray in, tinted windows and clear bra on the hood they charge like $2k for but it wasn't listed and said maybe dont worry about it. I told them Ill see what makes sense for me.

Yeah so the 2020 I drove was a Screw, Mag Gray, 802A W/Heated rear Seats, Pano Roof and step tail gate Sticker $70k. They added clear bra, Spray in Bed liner and tinted fronts and want $2k additional for that which i know is worth maybe $700. If they can come down to $66-$67 and give me $30k for my 15' Lariat I think I am in.

Curious....What do you all think of the extended warranty? Worth it?

I've bought the extended warranty on every vehicle I've purchase and it's always paid for itself with one repair. Most recently, my reverse camera broke on my daily and without the warranty it would have cost me $4k. Instead, it was free.

I got the extended warranty for my '19 SCREW. Hope will never have to use it but having let's me sleep better at night. It is the only addon I ever get.

Do what makes financial sense for you. If all options are the same on the ‘19 and the ‘20 it’s virtually the same truck. You will get an updated Sync system and maybe one other little thing on the ‘20. But you should have more bargaining power on the ‘19.

If your going to keep it a long while, extended’s can sure help.

What V8 is in your ‘15 Lariat? Curious.

i got a 10/100 for mine. with so much tech in the 802 package the warranty can easily pay for itself over and over.

I have the 5.0 Coyote. Its not bad, has a good sound but the 3.5 eco with the 10 speed in the newer trucks smokes it.

I get $500/mo from my company for a company vehicle and they pay for my fuel. Its a pretty good deal.
