This door doesn't have a spring. First time I've ever seen that.

I literally have less than 1” clearance in length. I have to be touching the drywall in my garage to fit in. So I stapled a mattress pad to the drywall as well as the side walls when I open the doors because truck is so wide.

Geesh, why do yall have such small garages? I have at least 4 ft of room extra in mine.

Mattress pad is a great idea!

OK so I appreciate all the suggestions here and realize I'm not alone.

I suspect a tennis ball and mattress pad would be a good solution for me. I'll need to park forward.

The other bummer is the truck bifurcates the garage so the only way to the other side is with the door open, or climbing through the truck.

You do realize Jacksonville has some of the cheapest real estate in the country!? Lol the pricing is not even close compared to what other big city Raptor owners have to pay.

Oh yeah. I also have a house down in Sarasota (SW FL 45 min S of Tampa) and feel like Jacksonville is basically running a permanent half-off sale.

This house I'm in now was built during the depths of the recession, with corners cut everywhere. I work in RE for a living, it's "cheap" for a reason.

Not pretty but gets the job done. Pool noodle hanging from a simple L bracket with a string running through the middle with a PVC fitting tied on the end. As I pull forward slowly i can see the noodle move when the front bumper touches.
