I am looking at options for LED aux lighting for my 2018 SCREW. I have ADD Pro Bolt On front and rear bumpers. I haven’t filled the front void on the bumper, I don’t have A pillar lights yet, nor do I have rear backup lights on the back bumper. I am looking through my options between KC, Rigid and BD. I am trying to decided between the KC flex or the Rigid midnight lights. I haven’t really looked at BD yet. Does anyone have experience that they can share?

We can make you a package deal, just PM me/text me/email me.

I'd recommend Baja Designs lights for the front. You can fit 3 pairs of Squadron lights in there. We provide a free wiring harness with the purchase of 3 pairs of lights btw. It's a raptor specific harness which will give you 3 upfitter controls for the 3 pairs on the bumper.

For A-Pillars, i'd recommend XL80s. Either Driving/Combo OR Spot (we can swap the Spot lenses in for you, since you can't buy them pre-configured from Baja like this)

For the rears, you can throw Squadrons in your bumper as well. We offer a harness for this (which we'll throw in free of charge with the entire kit of course)

I'd HIGHLY recommend Baja because you can change lenses later if you want and they are just AWESOME. You get a lot for your money.

I ran Rigid on my old truck and switched them out to Baja. I was happier with the Baja Work/Scene over the Rigid Floods I had to be honest.

Here is a local/loyal customer's truck that loves his setup.

We've sold and outfitted a lot of the ADD Pro Bolts. Whether it's three pairs of Rigid or Baja Designs cube lights or even a great 20" light bar, we've done it all. The cube lights are nice because you can mix and match beam patterns and amber/white light output. But some of the 20" light bars offer a ton of light output!

For A-pillars, our most popular option is the Baja Designs XL80's. But not everyone needs that much light or wants a light that size on their A-pillars.

The KC Flex series are really great lights. They have a cool look to them and are very bright. A 20" light bar for the bumper and a pair of the dual Flex lights for the hood mounts would be a nice setup as well.

Here's a truck with the Baja Designs XL80's on A-pillars and a 20" Onx6 light bar.

We'd be happy to help get your truck setup with some LED lighting.

I am leaning towards the KC Flex lights, but the BDs on the front bumper look really nice. How is the light difference between the BD cubes and the KC Flex 20” bar?

I like the idea of a pair of dual KC flexs for the A pillars. Will these mount to a SDHQ A pillar mount?

Just curious, what size wheels and tires are on this truck? What brand?

What would you recommend for the rear bumper?

Because the ADD Pro Bolt On rear bumper has a rather narrow opening, a full cube light is likely overkill due to the light itself being partially blocked. We’d recommend a Baja Designs S2. It would fit great in there. Just did this exact setup for another customer actually.

A Baja 20" OnX6 bar would do 24,900 lumen and are available in a Driving/Combo, Spot and Wide Cornering Pattern (amber as well for Driving/Combo & Wide Cornering).

A KC Flex 10" bar is 4,875 lumen each (you put 2x 10" bars together for a total of 9,750 lumen)

KC Flex Lights are 975 lumen each for the single versions or 3,900 lumen each for the quad version

Baja Squadron Sports are 3,150 lumen each. Baja Squadron Pros are 4,900 lumen each.

Baja offers you the ability to change the lenses whenever you want in addition to adding on covers (clear, amber or solid black).

For your rear bumpers i'd recommend 1 of 2 setups

1) If you plan to utilize our reverse harness, so that your Squadrons turn on with your reverse lights, do the Squadron Sports in Wide Cornering
2) If you plan to only turn them on via a switch, do the Squadron Pros in Work/Scene

The reason for this is the Pro is a LOT of light for regular reversing. You'll drive folks nuts every time you go in reverse. The Squadron Sport however would be a bit better, not as bright and you'd have them come on automatically.

Also I recommend wide cornering for "reverse" applications with a Sport. Work/Scene would be better for the Pros. It's a very diffused/spread out light so it does not go as far back, so the pros work great in this setup as you have a lot more light dispersed over more of an area. I ran Squadron Pro Work/Scene on my old truck in my ADD bumper

You can also run an S2 Sport or Pro light in Wide Cornering to fit in between the gaps as well. S2 would be more ideal for your reverse lights if they are coming on automatically

Ok... Thinking about this more. My thoughts now are to go with 3 pairs BD Squadron Pros in the front bumper—I haven’t nailed the mix yet. For the rear bumper I am leaning towards a pair of KC Flex Duals in a flood/spread pattern to be run via the uplifter switches (not tied to the backups). For the A pillars, I am leaning towards a pair of KC Flex Duals in the spot pattern.

If using the KC flexs as A pillars will they work with a SDHQ mount?

What do you all think about that setup?

Squadron Pros is a good idea. As you get control over 3 pairs of lights so you can use them in various conditions.

I'd say do

Squadron Pro Wide Cornering
Squadron Pro Driving/Combo
Squadron Pro Spot

Why flex? Flex don't offer much light output at all. I'd say go for the Baja Designs Squadron or S2 lights in the rear, more quality/light for your $$. And we have our upfitter control harness that'll work wonderfully for you. It's a solid 1 piece harness.

KC duals will work with the SDHQ or Alternative Offroad mounts, both of which we stock.

I'd say get Squadron Pro Spots or Racers for your pillars, but that's me. I find you just get more for your money with Baja over KC
