Seems like Ford doesn't really care.

So you were mad that rates changed over 3 months and also that you didn’t even CHECK what the rate was when you signed????

I wish there was a way for businesses to rate customers so that we could know who we were dealing with in advance.

In my business, we will raise rates if we feel the customer is a pita. If they walk, so be it.

I got the exact same rates, actually lower when I refinanced the loan. If anything the rates were better. Even if the rates had gone up he should of been up front with the customer, he was not, he was shady or just bad at his job. I know some people think these guys are their friends, they are not. This same guy kept trying to up sell extended warranties after I had told him multiple times that I never buy extended warranties, and he only stopped when I threaten to walk if he asked again. I am partially to blame because I trusted this scumbag and I even mentioned I was partially to blame in my reviews. Warning potential customers of this guy to check what he says he can get you vs what he actually gets you. Your logic is, something changes, don't tell the customer, hope they miss it, then demand 5 stars on a review?

I have purchased a bunch of vehicles over the years and I always check things like this. I was tired on this particular day, and was treated so well by the salesmen/dealership when we worked out the price, etc. I got lazy, won't happen again!

To your last point, you would never get my business I know what I qualify for before I walk in the door. The day they ran my credit I had over an 830 credit score, I had put down over half the total cost of the truck in cash. This guy claimed he could beat the rates I got. If he couldn't beat the rates he should of kept his mouth shut. I had it financed already through my credit union. He either LIED, was misleading, or just plain bad at his job. Unless you are selling something so rare that can not be bought somewhere else I am guessing you loose business often with your attitude.

I am so confused, you said you don’t ever get screwed or you walk.

Yet your complaining about getting screwed by the finance guy for you signing and agreeing to a rate you are not happy with.

I agree with df4801 you are a bad customer I give you no stars and may god have mercy on your soul.

So someone says I will get you better rates, then sneak in rates 3X that, that makes me a bad customer? I would not of been upset if the rates over the 3 months had actually changed but they didn't. I re-financed the loan for lower than I had been quoted by my credit union. If anything the rates were better at that time. By your argument if they do this and the customer doesn't catch it, you should give them a great review because they snuck something in and the customer is the blame for not catching it.

Every vehicle I have purchased over the years this is the only one I have wrote anything about the buying experience. All of them I just gave them 5 stars and moved on. Hell this one got 4 out 5 stars. When I wrote the review I said the salesmen was great, I just felt the finance guy was either dishonest/lied, and I made sure to write about what he said he could do vs what he actually did. All the vehicles I have bought the finance guys are hands down the worst. Just because they sell someone a vehicle does not entitle them to a 5 star rating. You are doing something that hundreds of other dealerships would of happily done.

In the end whether or not I am a bad customer, they only care about money and sales. These people are not your friends, they want your/my money, even if they think I am a ****. :33:

I have a 2019 Raptor that I bought in May 2019 and I got the initial survey about how was your buying experience. I haven't received anything further from ford. I had a 2017 Ram 1500 and in 2 years I received two surveys asking how I liked my Ram 1500. The survey asked what I liked and what I didn't like and what they could do to make it a better truck. I would like a chance to tell Ford what they could do to improve the F-150.

I've found SURVEYS mean Jack..!! I use to travel with an Overseas Adventure company 8-9 trips...after each trip they sent this freaking 10-12 page survey, would take an hour to fill out...would tell them what was right or wrong with the trip...being a loyal customer you would think they would at least give me a 5 minute call....NOT...I still travel with them, but the survey goes in the trash.
Only way your going to get thru to them is many hours of emails, calls, etc to find the right person...so if its not a really important issue,I'd save myself all the grief...
Went thru that years back with Cadillac...Lemon engine....took me almost a year going between Dealer and Corp...FINALLY I got thru to right person, they send rep to dealer, and I have a new crate engine installed within 2 weeks..NO CHARGE...Squeaky wheel gets the grease...

If one of those surveys asked about reliability, I don’t even think that was directly associated with Ford but a JD Power initial quality survey. Usually the car companies only reach out the one time to verify there aren’t any issues. If you had follow ups with Dodge or whomever, more than likely it was the individual dealer that was looking to keep you happy and loyal.

Every vehicle I've purchased, including at some very poor dealerships, they've all put the purchase agreement in front of me and went over it line by line before I signed. It's extremely implausible that they "tricked" you into a higher rate.

When I was a car salesman a long time ago, we were always trying to get all perfect scores on this customer surveys. I’m sure most of you know that, the sales people get paid money for the “perfect surveys”. I think I got paid 50 bucks per survey. Anyway, every car deal is different, but I do know that the higher the rate the more money the F&I person makes. When I had a customer that I couldn’t close for some reason, I turned them over to the finance mgr, and made some money. The one thing I hated most about selling cars was, most people that come in looked at us as the bad guy trying to get all their money. Which is why I probably wasn’t the best car salesman. Lol.

There you have it folks, because it has never happened to him, it has never happened to anyone.

In case you missed it, I did not solicit this guy to secure financing for me. I had everything taken care off when the deal was worked out. This ****** bag claimed he could beat the rates I had secured. Then proceeded to do significantly worse. You understand the part of, he should of not made a claim he clearly couldn't keep, for what ever reason, then he got butthurt when called out on it in a review.

They also didn't trick me, I signed it. However he did not cover the interest rates he had secured. He was too busy pushing extended warranties. It was my fault. 1. For thinking this guy fulfilled a claim he made, and 2. not checking that he did not fulfilled the claim. I only caught it, a week or two later when I kept thinking my payments should of been lower. Payments he did cover by the way. I then checked the paperwork and saw the ****** up interest he had secured.

I have purchased about 15 new cars over the years and yes most if not all of them did go line by line. THIS GUY DID NOT! I just bought a new Toyota last month, a second car and they went line by line.
