TRS owns Morimoto same company.

We used to be one of the top Morimoto XB Headlight dealers, keeping them in stock at all times, however some type of partnership or something happened with Headlight Revolutions and TRS/Morimoto earlier this year. Suddenly the dealer pricing levels on the XB changed (not for the better, for dealers anyway) and suddenly HR started spending a TON of money on ads promoting the XB Headlights. They also became an exclusive pre-order dealer earlier this year for some of the XB line.

Not sure exactly what happened but all of us dealers who sell Morimoto on here have seen the impact and how it's really screwed us stocking dealers over. It's basically at the point where a dealer has no reason to stock the lights anymore (other then maybe 1 or 2 sets on the shelves for the walk-in customers)

So now us dealers can't really do much on Black Friday like we used to with the XB Headlights. Not unless we had stock prior to the whole pricing change anyway.

Yeah I am in retail business too and it sucks when manufacturer limits what you can do for your customers, especially during holiday season.

Yup... was a big shocker to us. I had an absolutely massive stocking order ready in preparation for Black Friday and then saw the email a few days before I was about to place my stocking order. Without going into too many details, stocking dealers basically get screwed now because of the MAP violators who were all over amazon.
