Its with the engine running and I believe when it’s not running also but I gotta double check. Its when I’m Playing music through my phone via Bluetooth. It sounds like air blowing from the speakers. Its not noticeable with the normal radio or XM radio because your here the music over it.

With the Bluetooth I can put my volume level to say 18 or 20 and have the music paused I’m so it’s extremely noticeable.
If I unpause the music the sound drowns it out.

If I put my sound volume down to 4 or 5 with the music paused it’s a very low hissing, like air blowing. If I turn it up to 20 or more with the music paused it’s much louder.

My stereo guy said that’s normal but adjustments could probably me made. Now mind you I’m just speaking to him over the phone and explaining this so he hasn’t been here in person yet to check it.

It just seems very Obnoxious, I feel like I can still hear it with the volume turned up but I’m not sure if it’s just in my head at this point.

I have all Hertz speakers and amplifiers with 2x 10” Rocksford subs.

Gain. Is. Too. High.

I just ordered a similar setup to yours:

NavTV ZEN-A2B

Dual 10 Foxbox
Rockford Fosgate 1200-1D Amp
Rockford Fosgate P3 4ohm DVC 10s

Rockford Fosgate T600-4 Amp
Rockford Fosgate T2652-S 6.5" components

I'll make sure to take some photos. I hope you keep the thread updated so I can see your progress and/or bounce some questions off of you.

Are you doing the install yourself or having a shop do it?

Is that 1200-1D Amp is same as Prime R1200-1D Amp? Thank you!

Also do you guys run 1 1200-1D Amp per each sub or 1 amp for 2 subs?

So other then these components do you leave the rest of the stock stuff the same?
Like which speakers stay stock? And which ones are replaced by T2652 components?

Got it all installed and it jams. The Zen is easy to configure and the Foxbox sounds great. It doesn’t hit as quite as low as I’d wanted, but it has plenty of bass for two 10’s. I have the gain maybe 3/4 and flat on the head unit. I’m sure it’ll get even stronger once the subs are broken in. The Focals are great. Crisp and clean. I still hate the fox and ford routered into the face of the subbox and I don’t see a good way to carpet it and cover them up. But for less than $250 for the box it can’t be beat.

I’m very happy with the sound. I’m looking forward to the next road trip now.

Thanks for pix! Did you attach your foxbox to the floor? Or it just stays there without any attaching?

Rockford Fosgate R1200-1D Prime 1,200 Watt Class-D Mono Amplifier https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004T0YAMG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_JwN4DbGC1SGB2

This amp.

I made brackets from some hardware store 90 degree braces. I screwed them into the back of the box and bent them so they hook onto the storage bin behind the fox box. They keep the box from sliding forward (it will slide forward in a panic stop). It’s not car show quality, but it gets the job done and is hidden when the seat is down. Also makes it easy enough to remove if I need to pull the box out of the truck.

I'm going to try this. My box only moves a few inches forward but I want to keep it from moving so much.

The FoxBox is awesome! Everyone that hears my truck has that 'WTF!!!' look on their face when the bass hits.

Dumb question, are y'all taping into the factory harness from the output of the amp to power the mids a highs, or running new speaker wire to each location?
