I installed my AP last weekend. I’ve been driving truck everyday until this Friday when my truck sat from Friday at 4PM until Sunday at 2PM. Battery was dead. Jump pack couldn’t start. Ended up having to jump it from my brother in law’s Tahoe. Had to run the jumper cables from his truck to mine for almost 20 minutes before I could my Raptor to turn over. Long story short, is there a way to keep the AP powered down while truck is off? I just unplugged the cable when I got back home, but hoping for a better resolution. Thanks.

Thanks for the info. Follow up question, if I open the door to grab something out of the truck, do I need to push the power button again, or does it stay off until I power it back on?

Just go into the settings and set the AP to power down automatically when you shut the engine off. It will power up when you start the engine again. Plays hell with the Ford auto stop feature, so go into the settings and turn off the ford auto stop/start function. Go ahead and read the operating literature from Cobb while you’re at it. You’ll learn more.

Why would you leave the accessport in the vehicle? Once you download the map you don't need it anymore.
