While our most popular option and what we recommend for the a-pillars are the Baja Designs XL80’s. Amazing light output, easy to change lenses or snap on a set of amber rock guards and being up a bit higher really helps project the light quite far.

Install is easy and there’s some instructions with the mounts as well as some YouTube videos that illustrate the process.

Here’s some pictures:

On these A-Pillar lights, are the HDSQ mounts the best? I don't think I want mounts that attach to the hood. The HDSQ mounts look tall, but perhaps they need to be for clearance. This will be my first time with A-Pillar lights and I want to do it right. Also, I watched a vid installing other mounts, seems the plastic cowl can be pried up a little w/o removing exposing the attachment bolt, is that true for these? A single existing mount point for each light? I see these in my future soon.. ;^) thanks for your support.

The SDHQ mounts do NOT mount to the hood. They really aren't that tall but do stick up just a bit to all for clearance and to tighten the bolt/nut that holds the light in place. The cowl itself easily comes up to allow you to run wiring from side to side and is recommended to be removed for install. We run these on our own trucks and they hold tight no matter what we've put the truck through.

For anyone looking for a-pillar lighting, these mounts and a pair of XL80's should be in everyone's future!

Ok, , I didn't mean to suggest the SDHQs mount to the hood, I saw other mounts that did mount to the hood, and I don't want them.

thanks again

What's the recommended 6 light kit with bezel set up for daily use? I've decided to go with the Rigid brand and KC Flex with amber covers. I'm looking for performance on the street and some dark rural roads.

-Driving
-Flood ? Do you offer this as an option (They aren't listed on the site)
-KC Flex (Amber)

OR
-Spot
-Driving
-KC FLex (Amber)

Another configuration?

For people more street orientated, our Rigid Radiance Kit is the most popular. The Radiance come in two options, a spot beam and a scene beam. The spot has a bit more distance but is not as bright. The scene is much brighter, but not quite as much distance. Both have the very cool amber backlight feature which looks great with the Raptor’s OEM running lights. The KC Flex is a great choice and can be run 24/7 on the road and off.

There are obviously much brighter, more off road oriented lights available. But for those more focused on street, those are the lights that we would recommend.

Hello! I would like to clarify about radiance lights. So I can drive with them while they on 24/7 on the street?

I am thinking of going with spot/scene combo + s2 wide cornering kit.
Do I need to point s2 light downwards to avoid blinding incoming traffic?
