Just a heads up... decent bolt cutters will go through those cable locks like butter. I had $10,000 worth of fancy mountain bikes disappear on me and they were locked with a heavier cable than that. I would use heavy chain wrapped in garden hose to protect the wheels if I were you.
Makes sence...thank you for heads up

How does that mount to the bed bolts? Is that just a plastic cap over the hole?
Rick, we backed out four bed bolts, and used new ones, the top part you are referring to is just a plastic cap to keep the moisture out

Fixed it...thank you for heads up...went with Vulcan hardened chain and their forged lock. $194 well spent. 9' of chain with the lock weight about 15lbs..lol Vulcan advertise this setup as impossible to defeat with hand cutters or even get the cutters in position to cut due to the hardened chain link design....2617f0ee2102bd9cf13b28f0644a69b0.jpge5e7de07a82c21fbfa4ff01354d213e0.jpg126677451ed382a573219ae1e7802215.jpg

Smart man, that's exactly what I had in mind but wasn't sure how to explain it. That will keep them much safer!

Towed a 5K lb 25ft camper at 70 mph, pulled it through 4 miles of dirt & mud to our campsite, unhooked it and had fun in dirt & mud, pulled my nephews Durango out of said mud over to a tow truck, did some donuts, high speed runs through 100yd long puddles, loaded the camper back up, flung mud all over the camper and towed it 40 miles back on the highway. All on 3/4 tank of gas. Gas mileage went from 13.7 to 13.5.

What a bitchin truck!

We used a load leveling hitch but this was on a slight hill. Did not look as bad as this once on level ground
