Does anyone know of any trucks with the starlight headliner or an alcantara headliner? That cheap cloth/fabric that comes stock is driving me nuts. Would also like to know if you can wrap the interior a-pillars because they're plastic and indifferent to the factory headliner

I recognize that truck in your pic. It's a one of a kind custom. There isn't any truck, or vehicle outside of RR as far as I know, that comes with the starlight headliner from the factory. I imagine it's going to be rather expensive to have it done custom as well. You'd have to put in each of those fiber optic lights by hand, then put in a control system, although it can probably be done with a cheap remote.

Replacing the headliner in alcantara wouldn't look right in my opinion. Probably expensive, but not as bad as the star light.

I would think wrapping the A-pillar is a lot more practical. Alcantara seems a little odd being that the dash is mostly plastic. Carbon fiber seems a lot more popular for this sort of thing. Personally, if you want to spend money on the interior, there are lots CF parts you can get aftermarket, that will draw your attention away from the A-pillars.

a buddy of mine had it done. I give him shit about it every time i see him.

I'd thoroughly recommend buying a new headliner from ford and having that one modified if you do the starlight.

That being said, id opt for something other than alcantara if you plan to offroad regularly. alcantara attacts dust and is a real pain to clean after any time in a dusty environment.

I know exactly who that guy is. And as you mentioned alcantara cleaning can be a real hassle, but the only place I would recommend having alcantara on is the steering wheel, the grip is amazing specially for people with sweaty palms.

I've seen RFS Motorsports on Instagram make the starlight headliner. Looks cool but I think it's pretty expensive. They might do the alcantara too but not sure.
