Thanks. I'm picking up my truck this week, and I'm going to be pulling a 16' trailer. I just want it to be level.

It's really trial and error, you want enough tongue weight that there's no fishtailing, and you want enough tongue height that you're not sagging in the rear of your truck too much.
It's a very relative issue.
I went to the local parts store and made sure I could return what I bought and tried several drops out. It was the best solution for me and my airstream trailer.

I have Fox 3.0's on my truck and my boat is only 3,500 lbs or so. Straight leveled hitch

+1 on adjustable. With my open aluminum trailer I used 4 1/2 I believe. But with my enclosed trailer it was too much. It sat level on even ground but at the farm it would drag pulling down into and out of driveway or on any uneven terrain. Had the to go to 2". Finally broke down and just bought the adjustable!

I bought a 4" adjustable drop and have used it at the lowest setting and the highest setting so far with different trailers.

That’s what I did. Four inch adjustable Weigh Safe. Beautiful bit of kit.
