Is there really that much difference in full synthetic and 5W30 blend oil?

Interesting, about the oil, I was never consider at 1000 I bought mine brand new on Oct 31 and I already have 1800 miles, I was expecting to do the first oil change at 5000 miles, synthetic like I have been doing to all my vehicles, but at 1000 ??? is that really necessary?

IMO, not necessary. Only suggestion is keep an eye on the oil level.
Then @ 5k miles put your choice of oil.
Simply the best. Does your oil provide a spec sheet to you?

yes...I used it in my Audi and my kids GTI. But it is not the spec oil our trucks call for.
yes....because you have no idea what the "blend" is. could be 5% synthetics and 95% fossil oil.....or the other way around.......they dont have to tell you. plenty of tests out there....google away.....find your answer.....full synth is better
