Today I paid $100 over invoice plus the usual ********: dealer prep $600. I rarely have bought “off the lot” but they had this y/e 2019 and with the little to no 2020 changes I know of so I decided to pull the trigger. I typically keep something 3+/- years so that takes me into the next generation version after problems are resolved. I have to say this is my 3rd F150 buy from Beach Ford in Virginia Beach VA and basically I do the research, tell them what I will buy it for from them before I go looking elsewhere and they agree. Matt Malbone is who I’ve delt with for years and he shoots straight up.

Just bought another 2019 today (my second) from Maxwell Ford in Austin. They list their prices on site and they are unloading the '19's! Even more room to bargain if you talk the right talk.

They have 30 of them in stock...deal city right now.

No need to buy 20 as exact same truck and about $3K more and not where discounts of 19's.

I just ordered A 2020 at invoice price.
Congrats--and invoice or better is definitely where you want to be on a 20.

30 in stock? Never seen any with half that down here. Sweet deals.

In stock--I should have taken a pic. There are several other dealers in my area with like 12- 15 in stock, but were not as aggressive on pricing. Was glad they didn't change anything on 20 except price.

Look forward to whatever they announce for '21s!

If the Gen3 takes a couple of years to reappear after Ford comes out with the new F-150 is 2021. Then buying a ‘19 or ‘20 would be a must to the enthusiast who’s been wanting one. Or there’s the used market.

The same holds true for almost all manufacturers that release a new generation vehicle and later produce upgraded versions. It takes time to ramp up production for these models. So I think they like to get more first offerings out on the road, so by the time sales level off, they can offer fresh versions to get things selling again.

Since the Raptor is lower production it surely may not be on the top or there list to get the new generation out. But then again in this day and age, you wouldn’t think it would take as long to build. It’s still popular enough to where they wouldn’t let customers look for another offering from brand B right?

Makes you want to enjoy what we have now.
