The only thing more expensive than doing a job the first time, is paying again to have it done right the second time.

NO on Hennessy

I'm more than happy with the suspension work done by SVC- drop truck there without any worries and or spots @zombiekiller mentioned as well. All very knowledgeable in Raptor suspension mods. Good luck and have fun!

brother, you're in LA, CA, I am too. I can tell you , there are so many shop in the 50 miles radius of Los Angeles. Before reading anything about Henessey and any post about this freaking shop, take the experience I have. I have a 2016 Mustang GT 5.0 California Edition, I was debating between Roush or Shelby package upgrade but then I tried Hennessey. Right off the bat, the sale guy or consultant or whatever you call it.. give me ******** stuffs right off the bat.
"You chose the good shop to put your car for the upgrade, we have a package of $15900 and $22000 and $29000. Depends on what you choose, you can get up to 800 HP."

I ask him, "ok, can you give me a specific list of parts or what is being done? "

Sale guy " yes, of course, but first let's take care of the payment and deposit. Then I will make a list of all the part and will send over"

ME: " why do we start to talk about payment when I have no idea what you're putting on my car? I want to know what you will do to it, what you put in it, what parts, what manufacture etc.. I want to know I get what I pay for, the timing of how long it takes as I have heard you guys are KING of delay"

Sale guy (Brandon I think, it was back in 2017 so I don't really remember the name) " Well, looks like you're not ready to have your car to be tuned by Hennessey as looks like money is an issue with you and you're not having money ready. When you do, give us a call and make sure you have money ready as we're a very reputable tunner shop that we will require to pay up front at least 50-75% of the cost."

ME: "what are you talking about? you still haven't told me a list of part or anything related, but you want my money? and just FYI, I'm happy not to give you any money now "

Sale guy Brandon: "oohh well thank you , bye"

So that was my exact story of how it played how.. I believe we talked much longer of the parts list and I ask him what supper charge you use and so on etc.. But that's pretty the sum of it.

Now, you may have a better experience than me. But from that call, I would never even give them a cent or trust them with my car

I really came here to watch the flames, but saw the mention of the Stage 1 and 2 packages. I didn't realize Hennessey did suspension work so I browsed the site for 2 min and didn't see anything about a Stage 2, but the Stage 1 includes:

VELOCIRAPTOR OFF-ROAD STAGE 1 PACKAGE
  • VelociRaptor front bumper
  • 5 LED lights in front bumper
  • VelociRaptor rear bumper
  • 20 inch Hennessey 10-spoke wheels
  • 35 inch Toyo Off-road tires
  • Front suspension leveling kit
  • Overall lift is 3 inches
  • Hennessey & VelociRaptor exterior emblems
  • Professional installation

Only thing suspension related is a leveling kit. I would be very skeptical of a company that includes 20" wheels and bumpers that don't increase approach angle in an "off-road" package.
