Same issues with mine. If I use the touch screen it can take 8-10 seconds for it to respond. My phone disconnects every few minutes now.

Even XM radio alerts are messed up. I can dismiss an alert for a song/station and it will be back in 15 seconds. Dismiss again, back in 15 seconds. Super annoying.

Add me to the dead APIM list. Sync3 would take many seconds to respond, then suddenly catch up. Typically this would result in suddenly blasting the radio at full volume, playing a few seconds of every SiriusXM station for a minute as it scrolls through the station list to catch up, or showing me that I'd over-shot my desired temperature setting by 20°. It still did this after updating to the latest release, doing the power button-and-track forward reset, and after disconnecting the battery for an hour.

Oddly this seemed to start happening after I added a new trailer, and my connected my wife's phone, but that's probably coincidence.

I'm still within warranty by time (30 out of 36 months), but over by mileage (37,750 miles; coverage ends at 36,000). I called Ford to see if they'd throw me a bone, but they told me to just save my receipt in case there's a program in the future that could help me.

So, $140 for the diagnostic, $700 to replace, and the dealer doesn't know yet when they'll get the part in. Not real happy about it, but so far I'm still money ahead of an extended warranty?

Last winter mine developed the same symptoms- dropped calls, dropped Bluetooth music connection, and no GPS. I was living 1500 miles from home so I waited until my wife flew down to ride home with me last May. I intended to drop it at the dealer when I got home before flying south again. Lo and behold...shortly into the long road trip it completely healed itself and has been flawless ever since. Either it updated itself or a loose connection jiggled back into place. Keeping fingers crossed...
