Sorry what I meant was...

If I buy this warranty at 20k miles would it be cheaper vs if I bought it right before my 50k mark?
There is a small surcharge after the first 12 months or 12000 miles.

Then after the 3 yr 36000 warranty expires you must buy a different type of esp plan which is usually significantly more. Best to purchase one while vehicle is still under factory warranty.

This applies to ford manufacture backed extended warranties.

I also wasn’t charged sales tax when I bought the warranty from Flood Ford. That’s a few hundred dollar savings there.

Just trying to make sure I understand these extended warranties (like Flood Pass, etc). Say you decide to buy a warranty 2 years after you bought the truck, and it's got 20k miles on it then. If you buy a 6 year 100k warranty, will you then be covered for the next 4 years, and for 80k more miles? Or does it extend it so that you're covered until 8 years and 120k miles (6 years and 100k miles past your CURRENT date/mileage)?
I believe the warranty covers from the initial purchase date. So 0 miles or whatever mileage it had when you picked it up . I think it spills it out on the website
