I'm able to pass anything on the road w/o a tune so IDK whats up with yours.

Yes the stereo sounds mediocre at best. I'm not a stereo guy and am not on the road long enough for it to be a bother. When I play "Cowboy" by Kidd Rock it puts out enough for me.

Sorry you're in a recession there, maybe you might want to consider moving to the US especially while Trump is Pres. The economy is great here. Maybe thats the issue with your resale woes IDK.

Some of the vids I looked at on U-Tube go with the more popular name brand exhaust but one Raptor owner sent it back after 2 weeks so research carefully cause you won't get V8 sound out of this machine; Ain't happenin

If you can't attend the Raptor Assault the owner I mentioned about the exhaust video taped his session and watching it will show you the capabilities of the vehicle.

I can't figure on the only one compliment issue except that maybe you're encountering snobs or dweebs. I like the performance blue color. Take it to a graphics shop and let some talented truck lover make it say WOW! You don't have to go full bore but do an accent or two at a time and see how you like it and of course if anyone responds to it.
There is also a certain amount of jealousy out there of folks who can't afford and or don't like the Raptor.

Its the upper highway speeds where I have a problem, I live on a highway with a 110 km speed limit so everyone is driving 120 km, at that speed my truck has nothing.

We have a lefty PM so our country is in the tank, we have a election next week so maybe the Right gets in. We have no control over the election in Alberta, it is decided in Quebec and Ontario: gun hating, tax heavy, give all the money to the poor and new arrivals mantra.

I decided the Corsa, just specing out a price now. I think it is the best of the worst.

I am not a "look at me" guy but I am used to getting compliments, I have other high end vehicles and I get lots of compliments so I dunno. Two friends suggested jealousy but then why not the other vehicles? Maybe its a brand thing!

I made the mistake of posting I was unhappy with my new Raptor and ultimately the post guttered, this time I will be a little more tactful in my comments. I apologize to anyone I offended. I am looking for help full suggestions, nothing more.

I decided to sell my Rapter with 5000 km/s, was unsuccessful, the only serious offers I got were approx 25k less then I paid for it. I did not want to lose that much. I got mine for approx. 7k less then sticker when the dealers wanted full sticker, now the Dealers are swimming in 19's and they are negotiating. I almost sold it for a 13k loss but the fellow could not get bank financing, he bought one at the Dealer for 25k more just to get Dealer financing. Raptors are not selling very well here due to the recession and the high purchase price, this is not helping with a private sale.

I decided to keep the Raptor but I would like to resolve the issues that bother me. I don't want to argue, these are my issues and my issues alone.

1) The bottom end power is good, top end power is low. What tuner do you recommend that will help with highway speeds, I don't have the passing power I need at 120 km's. I run premium fuel 24/7.

2) The stereo does not sound good to me. I don't want to replace the whole system and spend that kinda money. Are there any reasonable upgrades I can do. I am not a music nut, just want something that has a little more grunt to it.

3) The exhaust note is not pleasurable. I don't want to seem petty but it really bothers me. Its not the volume, it is the sound. What are my options?, is it reasonable to expect a turbo 6 to sound nice ?

4) This may sound vain and shallow but I have only received one compliment. Maybe it just looks like every other Raptor and that is why? Wondering what I can do to individualize it . I was thinking of tinting the front windows and removing the rear mud flaps. Not sure what else I can do, maybe the color I selected (performance blue) is the issue. I always keep my vehicles spotless and receive lots of compliments wherever I go, this one nadda.

I would like to be cost effective and not just throw money at this, I am a licensed mechanic so I am more then capable of doing most of the work myself.

Thanks in advance !!

Exhaust sound and No compliments.... Come on man! A “guy” like this probably will never appreciate this type of truck. You would be better off getting into a Prius after your manicure.

1) starting your pass at 70+ MPH is indeed a bit outside the performance curve. It's certainly not lacking but could use a little more in that range. It's speed limited at 106 sooo... 5star tune is decent and others as well...just make sure that it includes a tranny tune to go along with it.

2) There really are half solutions to the stereo. It's better than average for a stock system but if you're going to do it you should do it right:

FOCAL ES 165KX2
FOCAL EC 165K
DUAL JL AUDIO 10TW3-D4
Custom sub box mounted behind the rear seat
JL AUDIO TWK™ 88 SYSTEM TUNING PROCESSOR
JL AUDIO HD SERIES HD900/5
ZEN-A2B / DSP12A-A2B

The zen A2b is an absolute requirement as it acts as the interface between the B&O and any aftermarket amp/DSP. Without it you'll be forced to retain the stock amp and the upgrade will be a hack job at best. You can go up or slightly down from this configuration and swap out different parts but this is the upgrade that will deliver what you seek and yes...it's gonna be north of 1500-2k

3) You can't make the TTV6 sound good...period. Exhaust on these trucks is the biggest waste of money in the history of upgrades. You can make it louder but you can't make it sound good. Your new stereo will be the sthing you listen to anyway:)

4) If you aren't building the truck to suite yourself and other people's opinion is more important than you own then as those people from whom you want a compliment and see what they suggest. For me I tinted all the windows with dark ceramic, swapped the stock wheels from the 19 with the black beadlocks that were available for the 17/18 model year, installed bumber lights and backup lights...oh yeah...and I installed the "Raptor Assault" sticker I got from the school. I've had at least 20-30 compliments and several of those people wanted to have a full blown conversation about the truck....remember that not everyone is a truck person and not everyone who likes it will say something. You should be your own judge as to what looks good...afterall that's what makes it yours

One final thing...you should add the torque arm as it's the single best suspension mod you can make. All other suspension mods are personal preference but I think everyone would agree that if you could only make one suspension mod that makes a practical difference it would be the KHC torque arm.

Don't drive your Hellcat anymore and after a while the Raptor will feel just fine. Your baseline comparison might be just a touch skewed. Sorry, couldn't resist.

Thanks, a lot of good information. I mocked up the fender flares in blue and I think its the ticket. I will probably remove them and get them painted. Possibly anodize the trim ring on the wheel, maybe in gold ? I used to build cars and show them, the compliments is how I gauged my success, sometimes I missed the mark, sometimes its just the little things!

You have a point, I have always had fast vehicles so admittedly my expectations may be a little unrealistic. That said I am sure I can make this work, once I roll my sleeves up. I just have to monitor drive ability, I have destroyed a few vehicles by going to far...
