Anyone tested both. Is pedal commander worth Almost double? Pro’s/cons on pedal tuners?

For daily driving, if you leave it in on (say your preferred mode) when driving. So you have to adjust it again on every start, or will it turn on to the last mode you left?
Thanks

You will find some problems with peddle commander here on the forum. After approx. one year mine malfunctioned and started throwing codes and causing limp mode. Re-connected it and same problem. Took it off, happy motoring again. Loved it while it worked but didn’t like how many things it affected when it went bad. Possibilities of causing something serious on the truck? Don’t know but I’m happy without it. I want mess with throttle control again with an add on device. Just my 2 cents.

Have had my pedal commander on for about a year now with zero issues. Love it:patriot:

There was a long running thread from the 2017 era entitled something like ‘pedal commander awesomeness’ or similar. I’ve had one since 2017, and use it on city +1.

It could be a little more aggressive in normal mode, but, I find that higher settings make other drive modes less manageable.

I have used both.

I bought a used PC and it worked great for a while, then started getting electrical faults, limp mode, etc. The last day I used it, it happened two or three times. Took it off and threw it in the trash. No issues since.

A while later I bought the Burger pedal tuner. It has worked perfectly for several months, so far. Performance and adjustability seem similar.

The Burger has you calibrate the gas pedal travel before you can use it. Also, it is not bluetooth capable, not sure why that is even a thing, unless you want to mount it behind the dash or something.

Loved my pedal commander. Took all the slop/delay out of the pedal. Bluetooth was great since I had it tucked behind the kick panel and just used my phone to change it if I wanted (only changed it a few times then left it alone) City +2 was the best setting for me since I drive in sport mode most of the time. Never had any issues/codes from it on my ‘17. It remembers the last setting so no need to mess with it every restart, even after the truck goes into battery save mode if you don’t drive it for a couple of weeks. Never used the other one so I can’t comment on it.

I have the Petal Commander on my 2019. It's great, easy to adjust. I use city -1. Recently took a long trip and used the Eco mode and got almost 19 mpg using the cruise control at 75-80 mph.

Shameless plug here but.... Traded in my ‘17 Raptor a couple of weeks ago and still have my pedal commander.... I’ll let it go for $200 shipped if anyone is interested. Never had a problem with it.
