This truck is my third raptor. I have had so many issues with this one. I'm looking for some feedback. I'll list each one.

1. Cam phasers -Ford rebuilt my engine under warranty. Haven't had an issue since then.
2. Front Hub noise- Ford replaced some vaccum part three times. It seems to be fine now.

3. Here is my current issue- My truck has been in the shop six times this year for the same problem. While driving I have all kinds of warnings come on. Ex. Service AdvanceTrac, Hill assist unavailabe, Cruise control unavailable. there are a few more. My airbag light comes on. The truck derates. I can be full on gas pedal and it barely moves. Once the truck finally gets to 25 mph or so it gives me full power again. It's almost dangerous. If I let off the gas and floor it again the truck acts like I am barely touching the pedal for about 5 seconds and then kicks in. So far the dealer has changed the throttle body module, accelerator pedal and the last thing was some kind of pins in the ABS. I picked it up from the dealer on Sept 12. On the 13th if did it again. I decided to go to a different dealer. They couldn't get me in until Thurs the 19th. During that time my truck would go from derated to running normal. There is no particular condition that makes it happen. I left my house and it derated. Drove 2 miles to a convenience store for a coffee. Came out, started it, and everything was reset. The dealer has had it since last Thursday. The tech is actually driving it from work to home and back with a computer hooked up so they can get the thing to act up. Of course, now it absolutely runs like a champ and they can't get it to do it.

I'm sorry that was kind of long winded. I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also, I opened a claim with Ford. I wanted them to do a buyback. They said Ohio lemon laws only apply until 18000 miles and I have 51000. All they offered me was the Extra Care Service plan that would cover all reapirs for the next 36000 miles with a 100 deductible. I am very disappointed in Ford.

Please ask any questions that may help with resolving my issues. Thanks.

Yes. There have been a few. I think the ABS sensor is the first step, they’re relatively fragile and inexpensive to replace. if the problem resists replacement of the abs sensor, it could be the module ( don’t remember the part ).

@waveslayer - ? was this like your issue?

it’s rare, but has happened on a few trucks.

cam phasers is another rare issue but more common than the abs sensor fault / limp mode.

IWE failures are common across the F150 platform, usually its’ the vacuum piece on the firewall but if it’s bad long enough it can damage the hubs IIRC.
p/n FL3Z-3A788-B - very inexpensive, available on amazon and lots of other places.

Were the problems within the 3x36 warranty or power train warranty?

The lemon law is irrelevant to a buyback request. If they won’t budge off the buy back for the rather shocking amount of downtime you’ve accumulated, take the extended warranty offer and buy up rental coverage and anything else you can tack on. save up and trade in.

Yes, sounds very familiar to my issue. They said they did some updates .. not sure to what... also the speed sensor got hit by a rock at Anza.

I also had it happen with my Pedal commander.. I removed it and no issues since....

Are you using a Pedal Commander

My wife thinks I only have 3 guns
