I've noticed the same. I had a Gen1 SCREW pass me on the 5 , same color as my truck so I followed him for a few miles. Never had a wave from the Gen 2 guys and that's fine.

Maybe it's just me, but when I meet a Gen 1 and wave I usually get a wave back. Not always, but usually.

When I meet a Gen 2 and wave, 90% give me a WTF with him look, no wave. Very few respond.

I'm thinking they aren't Raptor drivers just drive a Raptor.

Yea I get that too here in Central Florida. IDK whats up with most of them but in perspective not everybody driving a 4 X 4 is an off road enthusiast so either they don't care about common points of conversing or they just can't relate.
Its like buying something at the store...Cashiers who realize you're paying their salary are going to thank you every time while the ones who don't rarely say thank you for your business.
Courtesy and civility are in short supply today along with common sense.
Press on regardless. Enjoy the good encounters and let the bad ones keep going.

I get more response from Gen 1's than from Gen 2's.

I notice the Gen 1's as they stand out more because they look different than anything else. The Gen 2's are harder to pick out as they look similar to other trucks.

Some just weren’t paying attention and some were just eye ****ing my truck instead of throwing up the high sign.

We catch the Chevy and Ram guys eye ******* the Raptor on a regular basis. My wife points points them out all the time when I'm driving somewhere with her. "Those guys were all staring..."

Nothing like Raptor folks getting along with each other.

I’ll be, but since I have taken to the road with mine, I feel like I’m the only one out there in a sea of vehicles. I know there’s many others and have seen them before. Pretty cool in a way driving something different however.

It just depends. I've waved or flashed the lights at another Gen 1 to only get nothing back.

Some merely buy either Gen for a status symbol. And other buy it cause it's a badass offroad truck that will see dirt.

I purchased because it’s a kick ass truck. Very capable 4x4, quick, luxury like, killer looks to it, heck gas mileage pretty darn good too.

Did I miss anything? Sure you don’t see them on every street corner like the blacked out Dodge 1500 either. Nice to be different.
