He is a good dude try calling him. I talked to him today and he is going to most likely add them to the website to order. They are going to be about $10.
I was one of the first to get the unit. The seal has been updated from the first design from what I was told. I have email the company three times in the last twelve months with no response. Great unit terrible customer service. Having the ability to order the seal would be great.

Installed mine today but added just one amber to the center and clears to each end. I will use the cargo lights much more often than the dust. I haven't wired them yet but the passenger one comes on with the door and suits me fine. I used some fish tape for pulling wires in walls to pull the wires through the headliner, took 5 mins.

I didn't like the way it connects to the roof though and might add something more substantial sometime. I'm also going to add some silicone since that gasket looks weak.

Stirring up an old thread here.. I have come to the conclusion that the pro is too bright in the center location (white - work/scene light). What are everyone's thoughts on the pro vs. sport for the outer ambers? My first offroad event is the 2020 SnoBall. Wondering if the amber pros might also be too bright for chase lights? I wouldn't mind saving the money and going with the sports if possible. Thanks in advance.

This is the exact same question I'd like to ask.. thank you for posting.

I have the S2 Sport in my center and it's pretty bright. So I'd imagine the pro is WAY too bright (sure it'll light up the bed great but it'll also blind you if you look at it).

However for the outter ambers, i'd say maybe S2 Pros in Amber work/scene might be good. Remember the ambers are going to be on while your running and you WANT people to see them. Sports will do the job but im thinking Pros might be even better to REALLY let those guys coming up on you see you.

So I was thinking either sport in the center and pro ambers for the outers, but is this overkill? Some folks just say to pony up and get the pro's but it is really necessary? Plan on going 6x pros with the ADD pro bolton bumper.

I have sports in both and don’t think pros are necessary. I can’t look at the back of the truck when it’s on and they both cut through the dust. Pros/racer for the front sport for rear do t want to blind the driver behind you and I haven’t thought once that I wish they were brighter. My .02¢

One thing I would recommend is when you get he light but a extra seal. I had to take mine off to play with the wiring and it’s been a nightmare trying to get a replacement and with winter coming I’m getting nervous.

Good feedback - thank you

I ended up going with the pros because I didn't read this before I ordered. I guess I will run it for the SnoBall and decide if they are too bright, I will use them somewhere up front and buy sports to replace them.

How do you like your choice? Do you think sports are sufficient? The more money I save on the 3rd brake light - quicker I can get a new bumper/pros for the front :)

I'd say go with Sports. Because they are up high the sports will work great. If they were mounted low, then I'd say pros so that they cut through the dirt/dust. BUT the 3rd brake light is higher, so less dust is up there. So sports will do good AND not blind you or anybody else.

The most popular setup are S2 Sports, Driving/Combo amber on the outsides and an S2 Sport, Work/Scene white in the center.

I did work/scene ambers on my own truck because it's just acting like a chase light and you'll see it. So you can't go wrong with either work/scene or driving/combo.

The only downside of pros is that it sucks to sit close behind for other trucks. The upside is that it will be more visible when the dust is thick. In my books, safety trumps convenience. In the words of Chopper Reid, people behind just need to harden the **** up and/or not drive so close. Having 2 spot cells is likely to penetrate better so make them driving combo pros.

Yeah same here... if you're that close to me my Pros are blinding you I either need to get my ass to the side and let you pass OR you need to back off. Either way most of us are NOT competing in races and we're out at RTO or other events having fun, so we should not be so close that we're blinding each other with our lights. We have them on so we're visible to other racers so they avoid crashing into us.

I did Work/Scene all around on mine. I figure if someone is behind me im not going to be blasting them as they try and pass BUT the amber light is still visible from far away.

Yes! Sorry I should have added that. The reds seem way dimmer than the ambers, but also only come in a spot pattern. So looking directly on (say at a traffic light), they would be quite blinding to a car behind you. The ambers would be rediculous.

So... I fixed it. I added a Skene IQ-275 pwm dimmer to the left and right red turn/brake lights. It was pretty easy. It only takes one of them because it has two separate inputs/outputs. Now, it runs the red lights at 10% power, until I turn on an upfitter, which then turns all 3 on, and changes the IQ-275 to 100% power. Super slick. I can draw a diagram if anyone wants to do it.

Swarfworks, any chance you can show me how you did this with the Skene controller? I'm looking to keep the functionality of the Stop-Turn-Tail lights, but it's way too bright for daily use.

Random question but hopefully someone can help. I have a Gen 1 and added 2 Amber's (outside) and a white center. All pros. While headlights are on should the Amber's be on? Mine works perfectly when I out in reverse the white is on and open doors as well. But at night the Amber's are on with less power then when I flip the switch on. I ran the flasher to switch 4, the steady to switch 3 and power directly to battery. Am I being super stupid here?

Thanks for any help.

No the ambers are your chase lights. You should activate them from a switch.

The center light is a "cargo" and acts like your old cargo light did. Open doors/lock/unlock truck. If you go into reverse and it activates then you have the basic w/reverse harness so it also does that.

But your ambers turning on... not supposed to. As those are supposed to go to upfitters (or share the same upfitter).

You mentioned the "flasher" so that tells me maybe you have the stop/tail/turn harness (which has that strobe control module). IN that case the outter lights are supposed to act as turn signals. Only one side should activate when a turn signal is on.

They should not be on unless you activate them (via switch or turns), as theyll be distracting to other drivers while you are on the road.
