Question about paint for tow hooks

hey all, I recently did some rock crawling out in Moab and ended up with a small amount of battle scars on my skid plate and front tow hooks (as expected). I was wondering what is a good paint to use on the tow hooks as I noticed they had a minor amount of rust on them when I got home to Boston after my road trip and I just want to prevent that from getting any worse over time.

Sprayed mine, seems to hold up better the OE paint.

Prep is the key. Sand them up and apply a self-etching primer.
