Yes I did
I called my dealership down here in South Texas and was told that they are not able to do anything or repair anything unless it actually freezes.
Was told that this was an issue on some..not all vehicles up north.
Weather has to freeze pretty hard and if a latch freezes that’s when they examine and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
Don’t know what those adjustments or repairs are though as he has not had to do any

Yeah, tech here in CA said they would repair it if I wanted, but it required them to take the whole door apart and frankly he wouldn't do it if it were his new truck. Since I'm rarely in temps below 20's, I'm opting not to do it for now.

My 18 froze up multiple times last winter. The dealer did an update to the driver side, need the passenger side done next.

I guess I should not move or drive to places that get cold

I live in upstate NY - The real upstate near Lake George in the Adirondacks. My 2018 froze several times last year. Had the recall done. Still freezes up. There is another "recall enhancement" which I have not had done because I don't want the door torn apart AGAIN. If you do some googling, you'll find this problem has existed since 2015 so I'm not counting on a fix in 2019. Don't get me wrong, I love my Raptor but for the money, this is ********. Then again, it happens on the base model F-150's too. Someone at Ford R & D needs to wake up and do their job. In my mind, this is not a dealer problem, this is a FORD problem.

here, on frf
this is in the gen 1 section..... is it for the gen 2s? i was figuring it was another door lock stuck thread but the mention of freezing temps means something other than stuck locks

Does anybody know what the actual fix is that they do.
New Part?
Adjust something?
Lube something?

Would be good to know so a fella can fix himself in case of a freeze and can’t relatch the door. Sometimes you might not be near a dealership or at an inconvenient time.

Anybody know?

Gen 2 issue that came out last year. I live in SW Fla. so I’m no help and have no idea what freezing is all about.
