Brakes look great. Glad to see they offer a version without drilled rotors. With a truck this heavy I can only imagine those are prone to fractures. Definitely will consider these in the future. I know they will look good behind my Signature Wheels

I've had R1 Drilled & Slotted rotors on my Raptor for 70k with zero issues. It was one of the first upgrades I did at 33k before doing suspension upgrades. I don't go out of my way to find mud but my Raptor has seen sticky Moab mud and mud puddles and I never had any issues with anything getting caught in the drilled rotors.

New rotors at 33k....

Looks good man!

Debris getting caught in the holes isn’t really the issue. Drilled rotors are prone to fractures and cracks when used hard with a lot of heat induced into them. Mostly seen in track use environments, and is why Ford switched to blank rotor faces on the 2018 up GT350 and 2020 GT500 from the drilled versions initially placed on the 15-17 GT350/R. You also wont see them on most competition level race cars either. Hard use is subjective, considering most guys are not threshold braking their Raptors.

They look bad ass though.

Installed the R1Concepts BBK (ordered through Evil Manufacturing). I also had great communication with the gang out at R1Concepts. I have nothing but good things to say about both Evil Manufacturing and R1. I absolutely love the BBK. Billet aluminum 6-piston front, 4-piston rear, 2-piece slotted/vented rotors and SS brake lines.

Erolivas - did you get the version for the electric parking brakes?

Just wondering if there is anything tricky in the install of these. I've put big brakes on other cars, but not one with the electric parking brake before.

Thanks

My ‘18 doesn’t have electric parking brake. It’s still mechanical.
