Hey guys! Have a 16 limited with Livernois tuner... leveled and Nitto tires, so is fun truck to drive for sure... my question. From anyone who possibly had limited and went to Raptor... is it just that damn fun to drive one on daily basis? I like my truck... And that’s what’s tough... usually I’m not trading in a truck i like still... but....Can’t get rid of itch to trade... no matter how hard I try...

Please post a couple pics of your truck.

If you like your truck - go test drive a Raptor and while driving it ask yourself if it's worth $35k ish more than your truck?

As others have stated....It depends on what you want. For a street princess your limited will probably serve you equally or even slightly better than the Raptor. It's all about suspension and the ability to go off road. The limited is actually quicker since it has the same engine and isn't burdened with the suspension setup of the Raptor. Where the limited may be slightly better on road...The Raptor will be MASSIVELY better off road. Styling is subjective but I prefer the Raptor and after that you have to decide what you want out of a truck....it sounds like to me you won't be satiated until you upgrade to a Raptor...LOL

Had a platinum set up much like your limited, now have a 19 SCREW and love it. Didn't give up much on the luxury, but it is much more fun to own and drive. Most of the feeling is psychological because I rarely get to utilize what the truck is capable of here in CA, if at all, but it looks great, it drives great, and there isn't one on every corner. Think about all the work and money put into their truck to make it more like a Raptor, vs. having one that is what it looks like.

Just my .02

I went through a similar debate with myself over upgrading from a loaded 2017 Lariat. I am normally a very rational decision maker. In this case all of my logic said the Raptor isn't worth the extra cost.

Then I bought one anyway. In this one part of my life it was a visceral vs logical decision. I am very happy with my choice. Every time I get in my Raptor I have a smile on my face and that's worth a lot.

I've learned that once I get the itch to trade up, it's going to happen eventually. The only point in delaying the inevitably is to postpone the next time I get an itch.

The other thing to consider, cost wise, is that Raptor's hold their value better than average.

My Raptor 19’ is the most fun vehicle I’ve driven. Period. And it’s still stock(for now)
My history of vehicles
Owned;
-91 f150 reg cab short box 302 5spd, 4” lift
-02 Tacoma 4 banger 6” lift
-13 f150 EcoBoost leveled then 6” lift
-15 F150 XLT 5.0 fox 2.0 coils
-15 Ram 3500 5spd diesel 4” lift
-18 F350 Dually, leveled on 20”s
-19 Raptor -15mm wheel offset TBC

I’ve also driven not owned some badass cars
Shelby Gt350R
ZL1 1LE Camaro
Golf R’s
STI’s

Raptor is still taking the win, way more fun on pavement then I thought it would be, and obviously fun off-road. Forest service roads are now rally courses(visibility pending)

Ps I’m new here :)
