Hey guys! Have a 16 limited with Livernois tuner... leveled and Nitto tires, so is fun truck to drive for sure... my question. From anyone who possibly had limited and went to Raptor... is it just that damn fun to drive one on daily basis? I like my truck... And that’s what’s tough... usually I’m not trading in a truck i like still... but....Can’t get rid of itch to trade... no matter how hard I try...

I would keep your 16 Limited! I had a 16 XLT Sport and Loved it. I love my Raptor, just don't think it's worth the extra investment in my opinion.

Raptor is fun to drive, however my XLT felt just right. Great balance of ride, options etc for the money.

Limited's Rock!

Never had a Limited, but learned to drive on an ‘85 F150 stick.

It’s been said, and I can attest this to be true: One day you will pull up next to a Raptor and wish you would have made the right choice.

If you have been bitten by the Raptor bug you can’t shake it except by getting one.

Best day in a boat owner’s life is the day they buy, and the day they sell.

Best day in a Raptor owner’s life is....every ******* day!

You must not use your Raptor to it’s full capacity if you think it’s not worth the extra $$. Limiteds are really nice but Raptor is just on a different level imo.

How many time have you been at a stoplight, walking thru a parking lot, dropping kids off at school and had somebody take a picture or give you a thumbs up towards your Limited? I'm not knocking your truck but I'm going to guess, never.

It happens weekly with Raptor's.

I've had maybe 4 people outside my family tell me my truck was cool, and I've owned it for 2.5 years. That said, I live in Texas, so it isn't particularly rare here.

That said, the Raptor is a class of its own, often imitated, never challenged. I might go so far as to say it is the most well-rounded vehicle you get off the showroom floor.

You never took your 16' F150 off road, but you are considering buying the most off road capable truck straight from the manufacture, a truck that although an awesome road trip king, has other compromises that lean towards off road...to never drive that truck off road either?

Don't buy the Raptor, you'll be back here complaining it won't hold your family of 6 because Ford screwed up and didn't include a front middle folding seat, or it won't tow my 25' travel trailer because the rear end squats too much...or it drives kind of "squishy" because the tires are so big and soft and your last truck with 18" wheels and not much sidewall tires gave you the road race feedback...

....on the other hand it's your money :)

That's a good point. I live in the outskirts of KC but still very populated with good income families. If I get out to some of the smaller towns where my family lives I get asked, why did you spend so much when you could have a PowerStroke dually?? :D

But the thumbs up from kids passing by and the occasional old guy at a car wash keeps me grounded.
