What type of lights for ADD Pro Bolt On Front Bumper?

I just purchased an ADD Pro Bolt On Front Bumper for my 2018 Raptor. I wanted to get opinions on the brand and type of lights others may be running and why. Cubes or bars? Midnight, standard or adaptive? Rigid, Baja Designs, or other. Please give me your thoughts with pros and cons.

I am also now trying to choose between the ADD Pro Bolt On for the rear or going with the Stealth Rear Bumper. Thoughts?

The 20” bar is one of our most popular to go with the ADD Pro Bolt On. There’s quite a few options for those seeking a ton of light output or just looking for a something to fill the void. Another very popular option is individual cube lights. These allow you to mix and match beam patterns and amber/white light. Baja Designs Squadron series lights would be our recommendation for individual lights. They make it easy to swap lenses out should you want to go a different route or need to modify the exact lighting you need for a specific event.

I'd recommend for the Pro Bolt on you do 3 pairs of Baja Designs lights. This way you can control 3 different pairs from 3 upfitters. This allows you to put lights on for what you need them for.

Check out Phils truck. We set him up with the Pro Bolt on Bumper and he was able to utilize the existing Baja Designs lights he had from his Fog light kit (he also bought one more pair from us).

We include a free harness with 3 pairs of lights which let you connect your 3 pairs of lights in your bumper to 3 upfitters. Makes it real easy to install.

Shoot me a PM and we can get you setup with the free harness upon purchase..

For lights though I'd recommend the following:

Squadron Pro Wide Cornering
Squadron Pro Driving/Combo
Squadron Pro Spots

Put the spots in the center, driving/combo outside of those and on the very outsides the wide cornering.

Would rigid radiance lights work as well? my reasoning is for the backlighting which i think looks awesome

The pods don't have much light output at all. About 900ish lumen if memory serves me correctly. The Scenes have about 2970 lumen I believe.

Again with the purchase of 3 pairs of lights, we'll throw in our raptor-specific harness that controls 3 pairs of lights from 3 different upfitters (and it provies the control wire for the radiance back lighting)

What would you recommend in Rigid cubes for a similar setup?

Well are you looking for Radiance Pods, which honestly don't have much output at all but have the back light feature. Very inexpensive though.
Or maybe upgrade them to the Radiance Scenes, more $$, but still have the back light feature. only you get more output now
OR the better method, the D-Series, as you can select which patterns to go with now. That would be similar to a Baja Designs setup in which you are selecting high-output lights in various beam patterns.

If you went with D-Series the following would be a good setup:

This gives you spots when you need to throw light down range. A diffused flood for when you want to light up in front of you and then a driving/combo which is a nice combination of lights.


I prefer Baja Designs over Rigid, because you can change the lenses any time you want and I find the quality is better in the Baja over Rigid. Once you buy the D-Series you are locked into the patterns. With Baja though you can change the lenses yourself and change up the patterns if you ever wanted to.

Either way, if you get the D-Series pairs (3 pairs) from us, we'll throw in our custom Raptor specific harness for you to make installation easy.
