Front end rattle after 1.5 inch collars....I can't take it

There are lots of bolts that have to be loosened and/or removed, as well as various connections and sensors. When I did my leveling, my truck wobbled 3-4 times every time it came to a dead stop and I had no driving modes. I took it back to the mechanic and he found that they hadn't fully tightened one of the ride height sensors upon reassembly of all the components. My guess would be something was not fully connected or tightened properly upon re installation on your truck. The only way to find out is to go back and check everything again. Good luck!

I did the Install without removing anything from the truck. Just compressed the springs and installed. RPG has this procedure on YouTube worked great

I was gonna do my 1.5” collars myself by just compressing the springs without removing the shocks but as I started, I chickened out big time...lol
I compressed the springs enough to see the lock ring but was so afraid of the spring tool snapping as it was bowing a lot. I guess if I had “Balls” and went a little more, I could have done it.

Nah, its just better to be safe! Much smarter to do it the right way then trying to do it the "easy" way!

I used some heavier duty spring compressors then most that I saw. The first one was a little nerve racking and I compressed just enough to fit the collar. The second one went so smooth I could have installed a 2.25 easy. I don’t know if I’d say this is the wrong way. RPG posted it on YouTube and it worked great for me.
