Awesome. Now go do a pull in 4lo. Assuming there isn't some nanny to kill the top speed on the beast, I almost guarantee it will be faster for the 1st several hundred feet than 4hi. If y'all are **** 1/4 mile, nevermind. Can't imagine it would be that long though, that would be sketchy.

When we used to sand drag, an underpowered truck in 4lo would blow away anything in 4hi. The lower tire pressure the better, 10-15, we ran lower than that though. Also, if the track is soft, go to the start line, pull forward several feet past the start line, then back it up. It will really help your launch to have a flat, packed surface. Make it look like an accident if you need to.

They have a tree and last year it was double elimination so you had one chance to screw up.
They didn't run the cars with the trucks last year so you shouldn't have to worry about the STI.

I'd air down to 20psi. I used to air down to 12psi for rock crawling but it seems to low for dirt drags.

there are a few trucks i know of that are faster, being that the truck market is small in terms of variety, there isnt much to compare to.
