GEN 2 Turn signal mod?

A few days ago there was a very nice ruby red gen 2 behind me with 37’s not sure what aftermarket wheels and an ADD front bumper. It was early morning and noticed that it looked like it also had the Forscan DRL mod to amber marker lights only then we were turning and I noticed the blinkers. On the top of the headlights the DRL was flashing progressive from inside out. I got curious as I have never looked if my blinkers were that way and nope I was unable to duplicate. Anyone know what this mod is? Is it something on forscan?

A couple weeks ago I saw the sane thing on a raptor at a stop light. When I got to my office I did the same thing and got out and check my blinkers. Sorry I don’t know the answer but found it funny I’m not the only person who got out to take a look.

Haha glad I’m not the only one. What year is yours? I’m wondering if this is another 17-18 thing that got dropped for cost saving to pay for the live valve shocks on the 19. I looked through all of the forscan posts and searched but didn’t see anything. I am about to try some forscan changes but had to order a cheap windows laptop as I got tired of trying to install windows 10 on my MacBook. If this can be done I want it!

I believe you need to replace the light with Morimoto headlights. Offroad Alliance carries these. My brother uses the same design on his Tacoma and they look great and were a huge improvement in provided light.

Thanks! Looks like you are correct. I had never heard of these. Not something I will be doing but they looked cool.

^^^THIS^^^, lots-o-f150 guys jumped on these when they came out, a lot had issues with fitment and performance too.

Very expensive headlights but the progressive front turn signals sound cool! Too many other mods to do first.
