Found a practically new 2010 SCAB with only 2250 miles on it. No roof or NAV and it does have the 5.4. What would you pay?

Not sure if KBB can be trusted, but it says between 30-35K.

What's the story on such low miles for a 9 year old truck?

You better think long and hard about that. You will probably be disappointed with the 5.4 and that will hurt the value big time. I wouldn’t get one but I wouldn’t pay over 30k

Elderly guy owned it since new....recently passed away. He had quite the collection of cars. The 5.4 doesn’t bother me...guessing this is one of the lowest mileage Gen 1’s in existence...which makes it more valuable imo. It’s definitely a time machine...couldn’t believe it when i saw it.

Every mile you add to it will decrease that extra value. I wouldn't pay more than $25K for it, after all - low options and it's almost 10 model years old!

Agreed... it’s a cool find with low miles, but the low mileage only increases its value by perhaps 10% over similarly equipped trucks for sale.

Reminder... these are not collector vehicles. The value will never go up... only down.

I owned my 2010 SCAB for 8 years and it had 46K miles when I sold it last year. It was Tuxedo Black, loaded from the factory, except for the moon roof with many after market parts, plus it had the 6.2L engine.

Parts List:
5-Star Tunes, True Dual SS Exhaust, AFE Intake, Method Wheels, Brand New 35x12.5 Red Letter General Grabbers, ADD Race Series Front Bumper, two Vision X LED Light bars, BakFlip F1 cover, Bedrug, Paint to Match fender flares - rear bumper - door and tailgate handles, WeatherTec Floor Liners, Tinted Windows, ****** Redline Radar Detector

I sold it for $38K in less than a week to the first person who looked at it. :)

Since the one you are looking at has very few options, no aftermarket parts and the dreaded 5.4L engine, the most I would offer the guy is $28K. The low miles are nice, but I would be sure to have it checked out for dry / cracked belts and hoses from sitting so much for 9+ years. Also, if it has not been replaced, it is going to need a new battery even if he had on a battery tender the whole time. (Ask me how I know...) ;)
