going to get my 19 raptor ,a full front clear bra ,including full hood , I have the matte hood strips, now I know if my guy goes over them they will no longer be matte ,they will be the sheen of the clear bra ,I'm fully ok with that ,other than that ,r there any other issues . don't want to have them cut around them ,Kida defeats the purpose of full protection.

Get the headlight surrounds wrapped as well.

Inform also the installer that your hood has vinyl stripes. There's a chance of having a small air gap since the stripes bring the surface up under the clear bra.

I had clear bra installed on my 2018 Raptor 11-months ago, had the hood, the side mirrors, headlights...basically all the painted areas of the front of the truck.

I'd recommend you ask that the installer to "wrap" all the edges that they can. I removed my hood stripes prior to the install.

My truck is white, so the edges of the clear bra do get dirty, have had too trim some edges back. Overall is does a good job protecting the paint.

Long time reader, first time poster! I’m thinking of doing the same but my buddy says the edges will get wax build up and raptoroffset above, says the edges get built up dirt. Sounds like a lot of build up. Anyone else ever contemplated what’s better? Live with Rock chips, install a bug guard or deal with wax built up edges? Also, does the clear bra hold a good waxing?

I got PPF on the front clip (fenders/windshield forward) on my truck. It can be treated with waxes and sealants with no issues. Wax build-up on the edges will happen. Just take your time during waxing, paying close attention to the edges and cleaning up before the wax hardens. If you want to be extra meticulous, you can tape up the edges with masking tape before waxing. You can also try to see if a spray wax works for you as well.
