Backup lights on and running... Amazing difference! The reduced visibility of the topper made the extra illumination all the more valuable. Easiest modification yet too [emoji106]1e864bd5975074b78c7cef856d02e44f.jpg

What brand and model lights did you use? I'm looking to put some lights on my vehicle too.

Got the tent mounted. Going to test it out tonight to see how it goes.

It looks like that tent has a second floor where you would sleep. Is that correct? Is the main section to the side of the Raptor for storage? Or is that another area to sleep? And then I guess there is more storage available in the truck bed.

Yes, the top has a king size mattress in it. The annex (lower level), can be used for storage or a queen size air mattress can fit for more to sleep. The annex doesn’t actually need to be attached, it is an option. The truck bed has the retrax pro tonneau cover and yes it has weatherproof storage. I also have pelican cases to sit on top of the tonneau cover and under the tent so that will house even more weatherproof storage.

Have you been happy with the retrax Pro and the Yakima rack? I’ve been looking at the exact same set up but I currently have a bakflip F1 tonneau cover. The only rack I found to work with the bakflip is the KB voodoo and it has received many mixed reviews. Your rig looks great, anxious to hear how you slept. Once you’ve slept in a rtt, you’ll never go back.

So far I love the retrax pro. I bought the UnderCover ultra flex about three months ago when I bought my Raptor because that is what I had on my old truck for five years. I sold it locally to help offset the cost of the retrax. I like the retrax pro better because it’s a little more secure, I can put weight on the top of it and of course because it is compatible with the t-channels. I don’t lose much space in the front of the bed and I can see in the back when I’m utilizing the whole bed. As far as the Yakima rack - I absolutely love it. They make a very good product and it really does look good. Next I will install the center piece that goes in between the two uprights to mount some fuel, water and probably a set of max trax. I’m thinking of doing a roof rack but I don’t know if it’s worth it just to install an awning. I’m actually looking at the rhino rack batwing I believe it’s called and I should be able to mount that to the existing Yakima outpost HD.
