OEM beadlock rims don't fit, why? Anything I can do?

you need to check locally; small claims if it is available. I’m not sure how much you’re out or what the local requirements are, but, my experience is that scammers are exceedingly good at what they do and 1) know what they’re selling is fake defective and 2) are also very good at feigning ignorance.

I don’t know whether you can make a larceny charge stick here, caveat emptor and all. but you can seemingly show they aren’t what they were advertised as. I’d cease contact and take the thieving scumbag to court. Even if it cost me hundreds more to do it than I spent, but that’s just me.

Sucks man but I’ve been there. Bought a set of BBS wheels - one had a bend.

Sold them at a loss. Not worth going to court. You live you learn. Caveat emptor.

Those would be bad *** on a ranger, I would maybe sell them like that. Do you care to say what you paid for them?

They would look sweet on a ranger. It would be nice to know where they came from. Ranger raptor concept vehicle maybe

so, OP knows the wheels don’t fit a Rap. I don’t think it would be wise to perpetuate the problem having that knowledge; what do these fit anyway?

It would be a real shame if one of those wheels accidentally fell on the roof of the sellers AMG while you were trying to return one of them.

yeah, Discount Tire confirmed at 2 different locations that they are size 139.7 which fits the new ranger and some other non-ford trucks. weirdest part is that they have center caps with the "ford" logo. look identical to the raptor option except they aren't the right size.

I paid $750 for them. The wheels are in really good shape. maybe best to move on, see if i can find a buyer for them and let karma do its deal with the seller.

seller is a realtor with 10x Homes RE/MAX in Phoenix, so so much for ethics realtors are supposed to have. refusing to admit he sold something that wasn't what he said it was. stand up guy.

Did he say they came off his truck? Sorry if I missed it.

Since he's a realtor, did he use his work email to discuss the deal? Pretty thin, but if he did, you might contact his broker and just give him a heads up, CC the seller. Doubt anything would come of it, but you never know.

If all else fails, post up his name and stuff here. It will make you feel better.
