I got my BD reverse lights yesterday, and think I’m gonna tie them to my backup light. I know it’s pins 1 and 4 I’m supposed to use, but what colors are those wires on a 19? [emoji2371]

Just tap into the centre pin on the trailer plug.

Just tap into the centre pin on the trailer plug.

My first through was to tap into that, but I thought behind the tail light would be better protected from the elements. Whether or not that makes any difference is another story. I’m probably overthinking it

The tail light wires are very fine. Many of us are using the plug wire without issue. Just make sure you use a good adhesive lined shrink wrap.
