That sucks bud. No I didn’t talk to the warranty department yet. I showed the guy who sold me the truck and he said to come in Monday and they’ll take care of it. I hope they don’t give me any grief. It has less than 50 miles, plus I showed him some of it the day I picked it up. I said I’ll see if I can buff it out first and if not get it fix under warranty. I guess I’ll see tomorrow.

I did see what looks like touch up paint on the steering wheel stripe. I think the dealer scuffed a small spot and tried to cover it. It’s barely noticeable, but I’m ocd and except a perfect condition truck if it’s brand new. They did have to trade with another dealership to get my truck, so I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt that these things happened there.

I’ll post an update tomorrow. Let’s hope that things work out for the both of us.

Good luck and I definitely share the ocd trait. The small paint cracks on my truck are in a spot you would never notice (leading edge of the right fender where it meets the hood) unless you go into inspection mode and are looking for flaws from different angles but it still bugs me.

Well just got back from dealership and they said everything is covered. Had 6 things in total.

- dent in rear passenger trim
- scratches on rubber molding of rear bumper
- scratches on rear driver window molding
- dirt or dust under rear quarter panel pain causing bumps
- scuffs on rear bumper sensor trim pieces
- someone put red touch up paint on steering wheel to cover damage

It should go in this week or next and be finish in 3-5 days. They will give me a loaner car/truck during repairs. Happy it went well and they are doing what every dealer should do. Hope things work out like this for you bud.
