SP-578 plugs

I have an original gearhead before they added towing tune. Plug and play. Skips 5 gears and you think it dropped 1. Smooth. Tow haul position is good in traffic. It's a mild sport.

So spoke with Ford this AM, they have superseded sp542 with sp578. They no longer carry that part number, so not sure if just a part number change or if there is a change in design. I ordered the 542s from amazon, but if the 578s come, I’ll install those and update.

exactly what happened to me - ordered 542s received 578s - called the local dealer, told me they were superseded - I posted in this thread - https://www.fordraptorforum.com/threads/sp-542.62951/page-4#post-1383754

I've been running them for a couple of weeks now - no issues.
