Test the theory of it being the injectors.

Why can’t 70k trucks ever have issues. Only 30k trucks are allowed to?
What about a 300k school bus? Or a 420k stock car that has to rebuild its engine after each race.
The OP bought this truck used. Who knows what 16 year old did to it when dad loaned him the car for a date.

i tend to get gas every 3 days......$20-30 dollars every few days is easier to handle in my minds eye then $100 every 8 days.

Seems reasonable to me. I get between 500-600/tank depending on how heavy my foot is that week. I drive about 70-80 miles/day.

Nope I’ve got a screw and a 36 gallon tank. I’ve never gotten 500 miles much less 600.

I guess you dont drive on the highway then.

Its IMPOSSIBLE to not get 500 miles on a tank on the highway.

If you dont get that, I recommend taking your truck to the dealer. You may have a gas tank leak.
