I bought my 19 Raptor mid June, and was debating doing ceramic coating. I’m still considering it, but I had financial drawbacks come up in July that kept me from starting mods, including the coating. I’m still wanting to add lights first, and have yet to find a good place in Charlotte to do ceramic. So I’m just curious on how long is too long to wait to give it ceramic coating?

You can add coating whenever you want. Will take more time or cost more for paint correction if it is needed however as new as it is should be minimal compared to an older vehicle. Getting the paint right is what makes or breaks it. I had 2500 miles on mine before I had mine done and believe they spent 2 days correcting the paint.

I bought my Raptor in February it’s not a daily driver so I was able to keep it as clean as possible until I ceramic coated it myself in June. If you are car savvy , have the time and space you can ceramic coat any car yourself especially a new one. As the other post said PREPPING is the key! The shops where I live wanted anywhere from $3K to $6K to do it and to keep it a week. I prepped my truck on a Friday then on Saturday I put on 2 coats of CQuartz and a coat of Reload did all 4 new rims as well all for about $100 of CQuartz and extra supplies it sat in my garage for a couple days and turned out great. Keeps dirt, rain and dust off great now I’ve only had to wash it twice since. Good luck getting your truck done!6905D506-F15D-4CBF-A053-3E6DE79EE4B6.jpeg2E806A1E-51BC-4E6F-8376-34FD648E6060.jpeg AB98A9B1-0AEF-459E-9972-CB30E0FEF39B.jpeg

30ml or 50ml?[/QUOTE
I bought the 50ml on sale at Autogeek.net for 20% off and free shipping. I also got some extra of the small applicator pads , their brand microfiber wipes and a bottle of Reload, Raptor is a big truck! I did 2 coats of ceramic on the truck and wheels and a coat of Reload. Be consistent in putting on your applications but don’t rush. Watch some YouTube video and read the directions carefully. Good luck!

What places in Charlotte have you looked into for ceramic coating?

I had a 20 year old car ceramic coated so any time is fine. The difference is you will pay more to get the paint corrected prior to coating. I’d recommend not washing your car or drying it with towels if you plan to do it soon. Most of the time it’s the drying with hand towels that creates the swirls.

As mentioned, you can coat a vehicle at any time. For best results, it is advised to correct paint first.
