Make an appointment for a safety and emissions test at a Ford dealer of your choice. Will cost you $20 bucks. When it fails the emission test, tell them to fix it under warranty. Pretty simple.

as far as the other stuff goes.....a pretty simple google search tells you how to lemon law a vehicle in Virginia.

https://www.theconsumerlawgroup.com/faqs/what-is-the-virginia-lemon-law-and-how-does-it-work.cfm

1. If the same "significant" problem is worked on 3 times (i.e. you have three repair orders) and the problem still exists after that, then it's a lemon. Or,

2. If you have a life-threatening defect that affects the drive-ability of the vehicle, and it still exists after one repair attempt, then you have a lemon. Or,

3. If the vehicle has been in the shop 30 or more calender days for ANY problem or defect, and there is still something legitimately wrong with the car, then it's a lemon.

This is where as stated above, you must take very detailed notes on all times you have been to the shop and the outcome. Just give the stack of paper work to a lawyer.....YES, you need to lawyer up......but you will get a new truck in no time.

Well I respect that. Ford Corporate said the same thing this evening. I’ve owned their 150s and a 350 for 20 years never had a problem, until this truck.

mine smoked like that....new short block at 40k miles.....still smokes with the new short block. Put a tune on it and fixed it after the block swap.
Im pretty over this truck TBH. Ive owned a shit load of cars. New and used. This one has given me the most problems. I can understand small issues, electrical etc. But drive train issues like no motors is just silly for this kind of vehicles.

Thank you!!! Take videos. Do you have any other problems? A Ford rep said and I have seen the “maintenance directives” for the F-150 and there is NO directives on my problem. They have had evidence of my I’ve got electrical and transmission problems? I wish I could post videos.

Everything! It’s absolutely embarrassing when a truck of this caliber smokes like that, and we are left with questions why it does that. I love the truck, but I’ve got transmission issues plus electrical issues. I will keep you updated, you and I deserve Answers.
