How hard is it to remove the amber cover from small KC lights ? just curious if it's something that can be done super quick or you have to remove the light completely .

Four small bolts hold the amber cover in place. Simply loosen the KC lights, twist it a bit and remove the four bolts. Can be done very easily and quickly.

The Ruby Red theme continues!

With so many of these LED lights costing a good bit of money, we developed another great product for the 2017-2019 Raptor. Our Light Guards are a heavy duty set of fender liner extensions designed to fill in the void directly behind the fog lights. No matter what brand or setup of lights you've got, these will work. So if you have a fog light kit from Baja Designs, Rigid, one of our double or triple bezels or even one of those kits from the other guys, the Light Guards will protect your investment!

The backside of any LED light is susceptible to rock, dirt, and debris getting thrown at them from your tires. For a tiny fraction of what you paid for your lights, add some robust protection!

The closeup is my truck so I'm borrowing it for my profile pic The light guards are definitely a must as they keep a lot of the mud off the wires and make the kit look more OEM as you can't see how the lights are mounted without getting up under there.

The amber covers come separate and have to be screwed in before install. If already on the truck you should be able to get at the screws from the front with a long allen key if you loosened up the light a little bit to push it back on the mounting bracket.
