Do you have any issues with the sync 3 passthrough losing touch input or back up sensors not being as sensitive? I've got issues, guess this one has to go back too...

What was the update they sent ? Depending on the file, they installed differently.

I too went from the PX3 to the 6. Mine went into a 2019 802A setup.

BDF,
So far my only issue is the prev-next steering wheel control causing the audio focus to change to console when the source is YT Music, Spotify, Pandora, etc. Those apps do in fact change songs as you would expect but the audio changes to the next or previous preset in the Sync3 console.
Other than that, so far anyway no other real issues.

I can’t seem to get the time to stick. Time zone is correct, but I tried changing the time in system settings and android settings. Tried auto time and time zone and manual. It always changes to being an hour behind. I’m sure I’m missing something easy.

Edit: I knew it was something stupid. Had it on Mountain Standard Time instead of Mountain Daylight Time.

What
MCU version do you have on the system info screen under settings? 9507 or 9717?

So mine is supposed to arrive on Tuesday. How many hours should a plan on making available to do the install?

Also, is there a good list of patches I should locate and get ready to apply after the install?

I have done this quite a few times trying to get my issues sorted, I'd say it can be done in an hour if it's your first time.

I put the trans I'm manual to get the shifter out of the way, put a towel down so I dont scratch the console.

Pull the CD player and screen to get to the plugs, swap the sync unit onto the back and plug it all up.

I also pull my usb cords to the glove box.

Updates I'd mess with only if you have issues. I've worked with them via facebook with good success.

Yeah, it's all plug and play, no bare wires to attach.

Dont use the stupid speaker it comes with, the red and black will plug into another red and black so it plays through the radio speakers.

So, the 3 plugs at the top for the auto start stop, hazards etc are a bit of a pain, but otherwise, 2 white plugs up top, the mini usb, factory nav, aftermarket nav antenna, then I think 3 black plugs that are just factory extensions, I think that's it.

I can do a full swap from my px3 to px6 in like 30 minutes. But the main harness and small harness are already in.

So did anyone else have to sign on delivery? It looks like delivery was just attempted at my home, the dude rang the doorbell, and since I'm not home, took it back. What the hell? I don't see anything on the website about signing on delivery, nor would I ever request it. Now, I'm going to have to go to the damn post office during their crappy office hours to pick it up.
