Hello fellow raptor family. For the past couple of weeks I’ve been having an apparent electrical issue with my truck. It’s been progressively getting worse and usually only happens when the truck has been sitting in the garage for over a day or so. I have an appointment with Ford on Monday.

I know this appears to be a generic bad battery issue, but the battery isn’t old, and I’ve never heard of the horn randomly blaring from a battery short? I click my push to start button only once and it repeats the automatic machine gun noise for several seconds and then proceeds to barley start the truck. Any suggestions would be fantastic. I will also note that it completely resets all of my interface settings to OEM every single startup that this occurs. Thanks!

Could be loose terminals as noted earlier.

Mine were loose but I caught it prior to it causing any issues.

screw the battery and terminals, you need an old priest and a young priest.
