Raptors Not On the Stolen List

Not a problem or question here.

This article discusses the most stolen vehicles. Raptors are not one of them. For trucks, Dodge, Chevrolet and Nissan are the most stolen. Ford is not on the list. Good for us.

Good read. I had a LOJACK installed when I bought mine, probably the only way a stolen rig is going to get recovered.

that is good...considering more F150's get made every year than almost any other vehicle.

Had lojack with early warning on my f350 king ranch dually, I dont think ill go that route on my raptor

I'd almost rather a stolen vehicle never get recovered. I know it sounds silly.

Not silly...it will either be returned half stripped,or beat to shit by some kids that stole it...I'd much rather they return the ******* who stole it and give me 30 minutes with them...

Funny, I was stationed there and had my apartment and car broken into.

Maybe not but breaking in is different than driving off with it. Ford has done a good job with security regardless of what that guy who left his keys in his truck says.
A lot of false information was posted on that particular thread about how easy our trucks are to steal. For example...Someone said that if you jimmy the lock then the truck is able to be started...In Fact...if you open the door with a key or jimmy the lock you only have 10 secs to start it or the alarm sounds off. ALL vehicles are equally easy to break into by smashing a window or what have ya...but our trucks have an amazing amount of theft protection...maybe not the case if you don't have the 802A and tech package...not sure...but still pretty impressive
