I installed the tig Camburg shackles with my Devers +3 and love them no rubbing so far ride is way better than stock. I run Eibachs up front. The stock shackles seem ok but the bolt holes are not round and look crappy imo.

whats the difference between shackles? were you able to take a comparison pic?

What made them not fit. I noticed now that since i swapped to icon leafs, at full droop the spring behave differently.

You can see the second leaf partially wrapping around the eye in this pic. The cross brace is too close to the holes and contacts the part-eye. Apparently these shackles fit Deavers as they don't have this part wrap. They are making me one which will fit. I had to install using stock shackles for now.

What a pain in the ass!! I got shipped the gen1 shackles from rpg and the bolts were too big, they did ship out the proper sized bushings and I had to drill out the shackles. You have to remove the leafs to install the shackle.

the camburg shackles rub the framerail on some trucks at about 3/4 of downtravel. The svc shackles that I have have a slightly different profile that avoids the slight rub. There is some play in the spring bushings that can cause side deflection, and thus rubbing.

if you are running traction bars, they negate this, but not totally.

My SVC shackles came. These look correct?
