I have a new Raptor coming in next week and I was considering swapping out the bead lock capable wheels & tires that are coming on the truck with the Venomrex VR-601 wheels. Does anyone have any experience with these wheels? Will the 20" size have a negative effect over the 17" that comes on the truck? I have not seen the colors of these wheels in person. Based upon a white truck would the Mystic black or the Tungsten Graphite look better? Anyone's input would be appreciated.

Solid wheels regardless of size. If you plan to be off road and aired down the 17 would be in your best interest.

Hello,

These are great rims and very popular with a lot of Raptor owners these days. They are flow forged so for a 20” wheel, rather light weight but still very strong. Yes they will stick out about an inch more than your OEM wheels.

As far as colors go, all three look great on white trucks. But if you’ve narrowed it down to graphite or black, the graphite is similar (not exact) to your fender flares and the black always looks good against the white paint.

Depending on tire size you go with, you may want to look into a set of perch collars to slightly raise the front end.

Venomrex wheels are in stock, on sale, free lugs and free shipping!

I just got mine put on and can't tell a difference in ride. I have highland bronze so I can't speak on the other colors. They're a good set of wheels that I've seen a Raptor with a set been taken offroad and jumped and he seemed to have no issues at all. Maybe if you're rock crawling and need to be aired down but for the high speed stuff and jumps (to an extent) you should be fine.

I'm in the same boat... I'm thinking of the 20" venomrex 601's in highland bronze on my performance blue. I absolutely understand that aired down the 17" wheel will have an advantage but I'm not sure I'd be down far enough to make that big of a difference. I would definitely say years ago that would hold a lot of water but the construction of tires has come a really long way. The 20" wheel really does look pretty good on the raptor.

They will also do custom finish. I did brushed metal finish with copper in the clear coat. Hard to tell from pics but you can see the brushed metal finish on wheel. Looks little bright in pics but in person not as bright.

I drove truck from socal to east coast zero issues with wheels. 100% positive review on them
