That post reminds me my childhood days.

Yes let me put a boombox to my 100k raptor.. yea baby! Can u hear that sound!! It’s my new boombox bro! Lol

I got 2019 and I found nothing wrong with the sound system.

I assure you sir or madam.....this is not a "boom box". Look in my truck and you will be hard pressed to see any signs of the install. But listen to my truck stereo and you will instantly hear everything that is wrong with the factory stereo.

5:00pm on Friday, after a long week at work. i take great pleasure in driving home from work with the windows down and sunroof open, knowing that at 75mph on the highway, I can hear every guitar strum, every high hat, and every bass drum kick. The definition of "music to my ears".

And.....at any time, i can go right back to stock and no one would know. I am no hack.

Are you happy with leaving the middle speaker? Does it sound stereo or does the middle speaker overpower the teeeters like stock?

middle speaker (center dash) is not hooked up in my install. It is not needed with proper components and proper power.

Think I'm deaf, because I think the factory stereos sound great now a days. But, maybe just getting old.

It was great for normal listening. But anytime i wanted to listen above moderate levels, it just was not good enough. Find someone who has a nice stereo, and you will immediately know the difference.

I just fell in the same boat. Low listening sounded fine to me however now it just seems like noise. Working with Noah to see if we can get a concert set up in the truck. Something about great sound just puts a smile on my face. Much like the truck when I drive it.

Looks like an excellent upgrade and real nice craftsmanship.

Unfortunately being the old fart that I am, my ears can’t take loud music any longer. My hearing isn’t what it used to be and I don’t want to lose any more.

But I’d sure like to upgrade anyway. No need to blast a quality system to hear the improvement.

Ok, motivated to upgrade the B&O system. Thanks to this thread among others. Curious why the NAV 2a system is used over the JL Fix-82 OEM integration system. Especially with so many using JL amps and speakers.
